I found both videos interesting, but the one that got my attention the most was the 1st one, the video that shows how a boy becomes a man somewhere in Africa. I personally think that cutting someone's skin is really dangerous and hazardous for that someone because the person can lose blood, infections can get into his body, it leaves scars, and so on, but I think is an original and yet intense way for a boy to make the transition to become a man. They also are somehow humiliated in order to let them know how important this is for their tribe and how they have to respect their elders. I think this is sort of an extreme way to become a man because I find it inhumane, but it sure makes them realize how important it is and it helps them realize their new responsibilities in life as a man. It is like the Jewish tradition of the bartmitzvah, but with more meaning to it; more soul, dedication, suffering, and appreciation of what they went through to become a man.
The other video was really interesting too. It shows how traditions and believes can change people, not only morally and mentally, but also physically because this video shows how women in a tribe in Asia..?...go through a process to get a longer neck. I think this is also a little too extreme, but it is somehow pretty and it shows how dedicated they are to their people and their customs and how they dare to be different and are admired by their unique beauty. Some people might find this custom crazy, but hey! People here in the States get tattoos, piercings, plastic surgeries, and so on just to feel more comfortable with themselves, or just to fit to society and sometimes it does not even have a meaning for them to go through all those processes in order to achieve certain look, or just to belong to society. I admire these women because they go through this change for them, for their families, friends, and their traditions.

Love Is Gona Save Us...
Well, as a lot of people say, love is the best feeling that we humans can feel. It goes from material love, such as love towards objects...ohh! i love my cell..heheh, even though it gets me in trouble sometimes...to love towards people, such as love to a best friend, love to a family member, and so on...but the kind of love that is so strong that can even change the way people behave and think is the love towards a special person... a person that one meets and might think...hum...i dont like this person, or humm this person is attractive, or sometimes is just love at first sight! but at the end, if its meant to be...its meant to be...ehhehe, geez! How cheesy..
I dont know if I have been in love before...I have just been in two relationships...the last one just ended but hey! it was cute while it lasted...and yeah...love can bring the best and the worse of people. It is really sad to see a couple that argue all the time about stupid stuff, or even worse, when they are either physically or verbally violent to each other...but it is really nice to see a couple that love each other, that take care of each other, and that could last a lifetime together...
Im talking about this topic because I hope to find that special someone because Im just tired of finding shady people, or just doing stuff...sexxxy stuff with that person! ehhehe, I want love! so yaaa! hopefully love is gona save us! because now a days, everyone wants to have a good time and forgets about the precious feeling that love is..but untill I find it...I guess that if I cant beat them, I might as well join them! ehhehe...I dont know if this is what YOU were looking to see on this weeks blog, but I tried to open up a little bit with my blog, and here I am! soo GOO LOVE! MAKE LOVE N DONT MAKE WAR!

Social Issue...Euthanasia
Euthanasia is the practice/decision that someone takes to end someone's life; someone who is suffering and is in such a terrible health related situation that the best solution to relief that person from his/her pain would be to give them some rest, by taking their pain/life away... Here in the United States, euthanasia is a legal procedure that can be done only by doctors to patients who are in a terrible situation and the only way to give them peace would be throughout death. However, in other countries, such as Panama and Latin America in general, this practice is illegal or not chosen unless there is anything else that they can do, and unmoral because they prefer to try to save the person's life and save them or even keep them alive until they die by natural death. In some countries, if a doctor commits euthanasia to one of his patients, even with the patient's will to die, the doctor could go to jail and pay a fee even if it was the best medical decision to take. I think that people/doctors should have the right to take someone's life if there is nothing else a doctor can do to save that person's life because by taking their life away, they also take the huge amount of pain that that person is suffering because of his/her medical situation and is a way to give them peace and eternal rest. Sadly in some countries this is forbidden mainly because of religion, which plays a big role in Latin American countries and controls people's mentality and common sense through the bible and morals. I am a religious guy, but I still think that euthanasia...and even abortion...should be legalized in lots of countries because even if it is not legal/morally accepted, people suffer because of this and have a painful death. I chose to talk about this issue because my great aunt is dying from stomach cancer and other issues and there is nothing the doctors can do in order to save her, and yet she is still alive, in a tremendous amount of pain, and begging to die in order to stop the suffering that she is going through, but sadly, there is no way that she can die peacefully and she is waiting until God has mercy and takes her life away.
